Lei Xie is an associate professor and Ph.D. supervisor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Nanjing University. His research interests include RFID systems, pervasive and mobile computing, and Internet of things. He has published over 70 papers in ACM/IEEE Transactions on Networking, IEEE Transaction on Mobile Computing, IEEE Transaction on Parallel and Distributed Systems, IEEE Transactions on Computers, IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials, ACM Transactions on Sensor Networks, ACM MobiHoc, ACM MOBICOM, ACM UBICOMP, IEEE INFOCOM, IEEE ICNP, IEEE ICDCS, etc. He received the best paper award in MobiQuitous 2013. He has published a monograph “RFID: Principles, Protocols and System Design” in Science Press. His research projects have been reported by a number of many high-end media, including CCTV, Jiangsu City Channel “Zero Distance”, Jiangsu Business Daily, etc.
